Monday Night, Mother Nature decided to pour over 2 inches of rain on our golf course, just in time for the 2014 Ladies Club Championship. The ladies of Silver Lake tackled the wet golf course with out hesitation attempting to become the 2014 Ladies Champion. 

Round 1 was riddled with casual water, washed out bunkers, and some new ponds that mother nature herself had designed over night. We even saw one member take off her socks and shoes and wade in to the pond in #7 fairway to retrieve her ball. After Day 1, Defending Champion, Mary Ann Miano had posted a very well played 80 and had a 3-shot lead over Becka Kasapis.

The course drained well over night and the course was in better shape for round 2. With cool conditions and lingering casual water, the course was going to be a main adversary for all the players. In tough conditions, Becka Kasapis fired a very impressive 77, to bring home the 2014 Ladies Club Championship over Mary Ann Miano who shot 88.
