"Ultimately, the battle we face in golf is not against our swings or the course or our playing partners or the wind and rain. Instead, the battle rages against our own internal limitations and our distorted perception of who we mistakenly think we are.  As long as we remain attached to our unresolved internal anxieties and fears – which play themselves out through many obvious and not-so-obvious words and patterns of behavior – we will never achieve our true potential. There is not a solid enough golf game in the Universe to compensate for a mind that cannot first make peace within itself. "
