Qualifier #1: May 19^th

Final Qualfying: July 13^th

The winning team will qualify for the 2019 Club Corp Champions Classic in Pinehurst on September 8^th -12^th. The winning team is responsible for travel expenses and any funds not raised through qualifiers.

Format:

2 Best Ball of 4 (Quota Points)

Play Format

4 player teams shamble quota. Everyone will tee off from their respective tees, the team will select the best tee shot and everyone will play their own ball from that location through the remainder of the hole.

Must use 2 drives from each team player.

Team Rules

 • Each team must consist of four adult dues-paying members (including spouses) in good standing, male and/or female, with a maximum established USGA course handicap of 36.

 • Each team member must be a club member who meets USGA Amateur Golfer requirements at time of qualifying and the national event.

• A member attempting to qualify must use a handicap index that is no more than three strokes higher than his or her lowest handicap index for the 12-month period prior to qualifying at any club.

 • A new member wishing to qualify will be required to have at least five scores at the home club before becoming eligible to compete if he/she does not have an established handicap.

 • New members must be a Club member at least 6 months prior or 6 months following the tournament.

Determining Team Quota

Teams will be assigned a team quota based on the attached Team Course Handicap Quota Points Table. To find your team’s quota points, combine each of the four players’ course handicaps from their respective tees played and find the corresponding Team Quota Points for that handicap. Depending on handicaps, the team quota may be different on each course.

Scoring

Each player records their respective score on the scorecard. The Golf Professional will convert the score to points using the table below. The best 2 of 4 points earned for that hole will become the team total.  

Points will be earned as follows: • 1 point for gross bogey • 2 points for gross par • 3 points for gross birdie • 4 points for gross eagle • 6 points for gross double eagle • 6 points for Hole In One

Qualifying – The team score will be the best 2 of 4 in qualifying rounds per hole.
