The Fulmer Group Goes WEST!

13 Silver Lake Members who regularly play in the "Fulmer Group" escaped the Artic Blast and utilitzed their travel benifits in beautiful Palm Desert. They played 36 holes at Mission Hills and 36 more at Indian Wells which are both ClubCorp facilities!

A Small Tradition goes BIG!

Every New Years Day for the past 20+ years, a small group of Silver Lake Country Club members have joined on the 1st tee to ring in the New Year right…with some GOLF!  Regardless of weather, this tradition has remained in tack and the number of players has ranged from just a few to dozens as well as the number of holes played from 2 (the minimum) to all 18. 

This year, a hearty group of members along with our pros, Joe and Glenn took to the course (just holes 1 & 7).  A few photo's were snapped to commemorate the happening.  A few hours later two of our photos appeared on the PGA of America's web site (PGA.com)!  Each day of 2014, the PGA.com will choose a "Photo of the Day" to chronicle the year in golf by photo.

We are proud to say that a picture of our pro, Joe Leenheer, was selected as the very first "Photo of the Day" for 2014.  You can see the photo at:
